What does the lifetime guarantee include?
The lifetime guarantee covers any issues caused by a manufacturing fault—specifically, any issues caused by a defect in making your ring.
The guarantee does not include wear and tear, loss of gemstones, product loss, or theft. The manufacturing warranty excludes damage or loss caused by not carrying out the repairs required to preserve the piece's structural integrity as part of the included care plan.
Generally, the things that are caused as part of wear and tear are:
Discoloration of metals caused by chemicals, make-up, pools and hot tubs, or bathing.
Wearing out, loosening or bending of prongs over time due to everyday wear or damage resulting in gemstones/diamonds falling out.
Loss of a gemstone caused by damage from everyday wear or other damage.
If your piece has an issue, bring it or return it to us. We’ll cover the shipping if you’re in New Zealand or Australia.
We’ll inspect the piece and assess whether the issue is due to manufacturing or wear and tear.
We will repair or exchange the item for free if it is due to manufacturing.

What is the Care plan?
All our rings over $2,000 come with a complimentary aftercare plan.
Bring in your piece every year after your purchase, and we will check the stones to ensure they are tight and secure and give the item a professional clean.
We do not recommend polishing non-platinum items yearly as this wears away the metal.
During this inspection, we will determine if the item has any issues and what needs to be done to fix them.
If the guarantee does not cover these, an additional cost may be incurred.
Do you offer valuations?
Yes! All items with a purchase price over $1,000 come with a complimentary insurance valuation done by an independent third party.
Send this valuation to your insurer, who will cover you up to the replacement value on the valuation.
Do you have any support guides for our jewellery?
Yes! We've written a care guide that explains how to care for and maintain your engagement ring.
Common Questions
The lifetime warranty is also deemed void if another company or jewellery performs any work on the item. The reason is we don’t know the skill of the person performing the works — if they do something that compromises the integrity of the ring, we don’t want to be held responsible.
The first resize is free, but subsequent resizes will come with a cost.
Yes, you are still eligible! But you must cover the shipping costs to return it to us. We can arrange this for you, but we will pass on the costs.
Just let us know and we will send you a return slip. You can expect your ring back on your finger within 1 - 2 weeks!
If you come into our studio in Auckland, then we can take your ring size for you. If you are not based in Auckland, then we can make some recommendations on how to get your ring size. But don’t worry too much — we do offer a free complementary ring resize.
