How We Pick Diamonds For You
The 4Cs (Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat) overcomplicate the buying process for something that should be fun.
We keep things simple. We select the best-looking diamond that the eye can see. If you don’t like our selection, we’ll re-pick another stone for you, no questions asked.
The Four Words Standard
Our recommended standard optimises the 4Cs, meaning you don’t have to overpay for things you may never see.
Your Four Words diamond will always look flawless and colourless to the naked eye and is free from defects not shown in grading reports.

The Standard Explained:
CUT
1. Excellent isn't enough
Cut is the most important feature. All our diamonds are the highest grade. We make sure each is the best the eye can see without you paying extra.
Colour
2. Colourless to the naked eye
All our diamonds appear colourless to the naked eye.
Clarity
3. Flawless to the naked eye
We guarantee each diamond is ‘eye clean’, meaning no visible inclusions to the naked eye.
Carat
4. Carat size matters
Two 1ct diamonds can look quite different. We make sure each diamond ‘looks its weight’ so a 1ct looks like a 1ct.

5. Beyond the report
To ensure you get the best, we physically inspect every diamond to look for things that don’t appear in grading reports. These characteristics are tricky to spot online. We take care of that for you.

We can commission a diamond specifically for you. We’ll grow and secure the best rough (raw material). Then, we mathematically precision cut the diamond to ensure that not a single angle or ratio is out of place.
It will have perfect light return meaning the diamond will have noticeably better sparkle than the other tiers.
We can achieve this by custom-cutting the diamond to perfect angles. This uses a lot more rough material, so costs more. In addition, we can inscribe a personal message onto the diamond.

All our diamonds are certified by leading independent certifiers.
For Lab diamonds: IGI, GIA or AGS
For Natural diamonds: GIA, IGI, AGS and GCAL
We do not self-certify any of our diamonds.
All diamonds above 0.5 CT are certified unless otherwise specified.
We can custom-cut any lab diamond shape above 1ct!
Natural diamonds may be custom cut, depending on the size and shape.
Moissanites and coloured gemstones don’t have a central and accepted grading system. For these, we have developed our own set of strict criteria to determine the quality of the gemstone.
Avoid anything with a ‘GRA’. These are fake certifications added to bottom-tier stones.
